Our horses are a big part of what makes CART so special. They are friends, confidence builders, and therapists to the children and adults in our program. While lesson fees offset a small amount of our operating expenses, we are funded by donations from members of the community. To help with the cost of care for our horses, we're accepting sponsorships from individuals and businesses. 

For our riders, the horses provide movements that help with:

• Development of core muscle strength

• Putting the rider at equal level

• Mimics the walking movement instead of braces or a wheelchair

• Develops motor coordination, balance

Horses are non-judgemental, affectionate, patient and help boost:

• Communication and socialization

• Self esteem

• Sense of accomplishment
